Glaslough Junior Tidy Towns has been operational for many years but in 2012 the first junior committee was formed. There are two set of age groups. Firstly the 13 to 18 year olds and the 5 to 12 year olds.
The juniors get involved in many projects such as litter control, biodiversity projects, recycling, etc. They have an allotment in the community allotments and also help out with growing flowers, vegetables and wildflowers.
Below are some of the awards that the junior tidy towns were directly involved in.
In 2014 Glaslough won the National Tree Project award.
In 2015 Glaslough won EPA Waste Prevention Award
In 2015 National Youth Award
In 2016 National Can it Award for the Can Mill.
