Tidy Town Litter Pick in Glaslough Village and visit to the Oakland Biodiversity Garden
In May pupils from the Billis national school made their visit to the village of Glaslough for litter picking and general tidy town awareness activities. Approximately 35 pupils and 4 teachers attended on the day and made great work in and around the village. The children gathered lots of rubbish in both the park and garden areas. Members of the tidy town committee supplied refreshments on the day. A great day's fun was had by all!!
New Garden for the pupils at Billis N.S.Pictures below are of the newly construced raised beds at the school. The Billis which recently received major refurbishment and extension works. The school is now a state of the art national school and one of the finest in the county.
